Parish Council

The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is the lay advisory body to the Pastor of Saint Ita Catholic Church.  The members of the PPC represent the needs, hopes and desires of the entire Parish. The PPC works with the Pastor to encourage full participation and engagement of all parishioners in the mission of St. Ita and the Universal Church. Each of the many lay organizations of St. Ita are supported by the PPC, from annual Discernment to opportunities to promote membership and participation in their programs.
The PPC sponsors a variety of programs that support the entire Parish including:

  1. Annual Discernment to select the lay leaders as members of the four commissions

  2. The New Parishioners’ Receptions – held once a month to welcome new parishioners through Coffee And (fellowship)

  3. New Leader Orientation – held every July to orient the new members of the four commissions

  4. Parish Leadership Day – this annual event brings all lay leaders together to develop our Parish’s strategic focus for the upcoming year

  5. Supervises the Implementation of the Parish Transformation
